FULUFJÄLLET National Park

Fulufjället is, with its 380 square kilometers, the largest national park in Sweden outside Norrbotten. Njupeskär's waterfall is 93 meters high. In winter it freezes and forms an icy blue shell. The world's oldest tree, At Fulufjället there is a clone of a spruce that has grown in the same place for 9550 years.
FISHING in SÄLEN

There is very good fishing in Görälven, where you can fish for grayling, trout and whitefish. Fly fishing is an exciting way to fish in these waters, but other methods are also effective. There are also many nice streams in the area to fish in. If you want to fish in lakes or ponds, there are many in the area. In these waters, the catch can be trout, char or rainbow salmon. When we arrive, you will receive valuable tips about the hike, and we will then drive the car back to the hostel while you hike back at your own pace along the beautiful mountain trails. It's that simple! Our only condition is that you stay with us the first and last night. Of course, you are welcome to stay longer if you want and explore the area further.
CANOE

Experience an unforgettable canoe trip through the beautiful rivers of Sälen! With canoe trails of varying difficulty and length, everyone can find a suitable route. Try the Görälven, which is just a few meters from the house.
Are you looking for adventure and excitement? Glide silently down the Görälven River and enjoy the rich wildlife and magnificent nature. Here you have the chance to see moose, beaver, fox and with a little luck even a bear or lynx.
