Drive and Hike

We offer to drive you to the starting point of the hike. When we arrive, you will get tips about the hike and then we will drive the car back to the hostel and you will hike back.

As easy as it can be, hike back along mountain trails at your own pace.

The condition is that you stay with us the first and last night. Of course you can stay longer if you want and explore the area.

Tours to Stöten, Sälenfjäll Näsfjäll are free, longer trips incur a fee.

Drive and Hike

NÄSFJÄLLET

We drive to Lekåsen for an easy hike to Lilldalsstugan, insignificant elevation difference on these 2 km, follow the red X's, then south down a slight slope through the nature reserve to Skarsåsen and back to the Hostel.

NÄRSJÖN

Fin vandring över Sälenfjällen från Närsjön i S.W. Sälenfjällen leden stiga genom lätt skog område till Närfjällstugan mitt i fjället, sedan fortsätt längs S. Kungsleden över Granfjällstöten till Görälven.

STÖTEN

3-4 timmar relativt enkel vandring Vi kör till Stötens skidanläggning. Här startar vandringen längs landsvägen med utsikt över fjällen, efter ca 2 km är du på en skogsväg med utsikt över floden. Följ sedan leden "Kungsleden" ner över myren där du korsar Gorälven med den specialbyggda skoterbron. Retur till Gräsheden längst Görälven.

GÖRDALEN

3-4 day trip for the experienced hiker with full equipment. We drive through Norway along the Görälven River to Gördalen, from where you follow the Södra Kungsleden trail across Fulufjället National Park back to Sälens Hostel.
